Your stay at Litchfield Plantation also gives you the pleasure of dining in the privacy of the Carriage House Club at Litchfield Plantation. An English carriage house, this prestigious on-site dining facility gives you the flexibility to enjoy a quiet night out, while feeling completely pampered by our attentive staff.

The Carriage House Club restaurant has been featured in Southern Living magazine as a terrific "Food Find" in Pawleys Island, South Carolina. Author, Mark G. Stith, raves about the thick and rich she-crab soup along with the other delectable dishes he sampled at the Club; the Pawleys Island crab cake served with lobster-tarragon sauce, oven-roasted duck breast with blueberries and port reduction, and the pièce de résistance, bourbon pecan pie.

"You don't have to be a guest staying at this secluded country inn to enjoy dinner, but it helps the mood. The setting is fabulous . . . Their Carriage House Club Restaurant, set in a one-story, brick building near the main house, drips with posh . . . But I'm spellbound by the dramatic full-length windows, for they reveal a marvelous view of the moss-draped, tree-shaded outdoors."

No visit to The Plantation is fulfilled without sampling the culinary delights at the Carriage House Club. Reservations can be arranged by our Guest Center.
