From the South (Charleston) (approximately 65 miles), simply follow Highway17 north through Georgetown to Pawleys Island. At the second traffic light in Pawleys Island (just past McDonalds & Hardees) turn left at Waverly Road. Proceed to the 4-way stop and turn right onto Kings River Road. Proceed about 1 mile on Kings River Road and turn left into the Plantation; the gate guard will assist you.

From the North (Myrtle Beach) (approximately 25 miles), follow By-Pass Highway 17 South through Surfside Beach, Garden City Beach, Murrells Inlet, and Litchfield. At the second traffic light past Brookgreen Gardens (at the Hampton Inn), turn right onto Willbrook Boulevard and proceed 1.2 miles. Turn left at Kings River Road and travel 1.5 miles to Litchfield Plantation entrance. Turn right into the Plantation and the gate guard will assist you.

The Pawleys Island area is serviced by the Myrtle Beach International Airport with flights arriving daily through ASA/Delta/Com Air, Continental Express, Northwest, Pan Am, Spirit, and US Airways. There is also service available from the Charleston Airport in Charleston, South Carolina.
